I haven't been able to get started on scrapbooking even though everything about me wants to. I just get paralyzed by all the choices and I usually don't like my work a few days later. That is why I like to make cards and calanders. I get to make them and then give them away. I made these for our Relief Society service auction. The funny thing is that my friend Paula won them, I would have made them for her anyway.

I love making cards too because, like you, I'm so picky with my scrapbooking and spend way too much time and hate it a week later.
Besides cards, another way I get my "craft fix" is finding cute/creative ways to wrap presents. It's so fun using different things (fabric, ribbons, twine, etc..) Abram is always picking up random trash and saying, "Hey mom, maybe we could use this for a craft!" I always find cheap-o stuff in the dollar spot and target. Right now they have lined-straw bags for $2.50 and I used those for a gift bag instead of a regular old gift bag. Fun stuff.
